Our FTC team was the fourth-seated alliance captain at the Science Museum of Virginia's FTC Q-Vent. We made it to the semifinals, and won the PTC Design award.
Our team won the international Spirit Award for excellent teamwork, partnership and for embodying FIRST's mission.
Our team won the Website Award, Chairman's Award, and is a Regional Winner at the NASA/VCU Regional. Thank you teams 346 and 88!

Welcome to the Blue Cheese 1086 website! The Blue Cheese Robotics Team participates in innovative competitions created by FIRST, or "For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology." We are located at Deep Run High School in Glen Allen, Virginia where students, mentors, and alumni work together to build a robot within a 6 week time period. We inspire today's youth by demonstrating our robots and exposing the community to engineering through our mentoring program. Our team has competed locally in Richmond, VA and internationally in Atlanta, GA. The team collaborates and works together to build robots and inspire the community. Not one of us could get the job done, but together we can make magic happen. Come and take "A Slice of FIRST!"
